Students were tasked with creating a compelling poster with an emphasis on experimental typography that centered on a chosen fine art artist with their signature medium. Letterforms from the poster were then digitize and used to create a full alphabet font using Glyphs.

I chose to create a fictional art exhibit poster for Felicia Chiao, a visual artist based in San Francisco. It was made using Copic markers, fine black marker, and toned paper. Letterforms were inspired by shadow creatures that appear in many of her work.
